Your responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain relationships with current and potential clients
  • Research new client locations in the marketplace, generate leads, and qualify new client relationships
  • Generate scheduled meetings via phone and face with potential clients
  • Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically, seeking input to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions
  • Conduct calls with Clients to determine open shipment/ spot freight availability and negotiate transportation rates

As the Accountant at Coltrane Logistics, you will be a key contributor to the Accounting Department. You will have the opportunity to provide important financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

We’re looking for an experienced, high integrity, and detail oriented Accountant who has a successful history of working in a fast-paced environment. Essential functions of the position include:

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounting and prepare and post journal entries.
  • Compile daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and distribute on a timely basis.
  • Assist with the preparation of company financial statements.
  • Reconcile various accounts and reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Analyze financial results by reviewing documents, transactions, and reports.
  • Assist other accounting staff on various accounting roles (i.e. cash activity, accounts receivable processing, billing, accounts payable activity, etc.).
  • Respond to accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Maintain internal accounting controls by implementing procedures.
  • Maintain adequate and organized files of company documents and related support (electronic and paper).

The HR / Recruiter position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful candidate acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the candidate seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization

Your responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business units to develop programs to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover
  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units and employees
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions and programs
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met

Job summary

We are seeking a driven individual to fill the role of dispatcher. Good basic math skills and multi-tasking is essential. Phone skills and an overall friendly disposition is needed as well as you will be dealing with a variety of customers. Being able to navigate on a computer is also required.

Your responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Transport Planners and Outbound Supervisor. Liaise with Truck Drivers.
  • Responsible for calling/reporting in maintenance requests.
  • Print out and assemble paperwork for truck drivers, such as but not limited to road bill. Other duties as assigned by management.
