Maintain general ledger accounting and prepare and post journal entries.

Compile daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and distribute on a timely basis.

Assist with the preparation of company financial statements.

Reconcile various accounts and reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

Analyze financial results by reviewing documents, transactions, and reports.

Assist other accounting staff on various accounting roles (i.e. cash activity, accounts receivable processing, billing, accounts payable activity, etc.).

Respond to accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.

Your responsibilities:

Work closely with business units to develop programs to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover

Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units and employees

Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate

Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions and programs

Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation

Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning

Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs

We are seeking a driven individual to fill the role of dispatcher. Good basic math skills and multi-tasking is essential. Phone skills and an overall friendly disposition is needed as well as you will be dealing with a variety of customers. Being able to navigate on a computer is also required.

Liaise with Truck Drivers.

Responsible for calling/reporting in maintenance requests.

Print out and assemble paperwork for truck drivers, such as but not limited to road bill.
